The selecting of "Super Lawyers" is designed to identify Minnesota lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Only 5 percent of Minnesota attorneys receive this honor.
Firm attorney, Ryan Palmer, has been named a 2011 "Minnesota Rising Star" and is also recognized in the same August publications. To be selected as a Rising Star, lawyers are asked to nominate the best attorneys who are 40 or under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less. We are pleased to announce the addition of new litigation counsel. The new Monroe Moxness Berg litigation team includes veterans, Gerald Duffy and Kristin Kingsbury, as well as Matthew Duffy. Under Gerry Duffy's leadership, as chair of the Litigation practice group, the firm will offer two new areas of practice - Land Use and Construction Law. Gerry Duffy has more than 40 years of litigation experience ranging from simple disputes to the most complex. Held May 17-19, 2009 in Washington, DC, the symposium program focused on exploring solutions to pressing legal and business issues facing the franchise community. Randy Evans and Dennis Monroe were featured speakers at the Franchise Finance and Development Conference, May 4-6, 2009 in Las Vegas, NV. The purpose of the conference is to provide resources to help attendees navigate through the economic and financial challenges facing franchise companies in today's current marketplace. Randy lead a panel of franchisors discussing "Successful Franchise Finance Programs and Other Keys to Success." Dennis presented on "Franchise Financing 2009: Options, Availability, Terms and Pricing." Tom MacIntosh also represented the firm at the conference.
