Vickie Loher is an associate in the firm's Real Estate practice group, and represents buyers
and sellers in commercial real estate transactions and real estate development matters. Her
representation includes protecting her clients in a practical and pragmatic fashion, taking
into consideration potential legal issues when drafting transaction documents to prevent and
address future conflicts. In retail leasing transactions, Vickie has experience representing both
tenants and landlords. Vickie conducts due diligence reviews, including title, survey, land use,
permitting, and environmental matters and, in doing so, considers the current, planned and
future uses for a client's commercial properties.
Vickie's practice provides a unique bridge between the firm's real estate practice group and the
firm's franchise practice group. Her real estate experience lends itself well to the leasing, sale
and purchase of franchise locations.
Graduating magna cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law in 1999, Vickie was active in
Law Review, served as a research assistant for several professors, including having a research
contribution published in Christina L. Kunz, et al., The Process of Legal Research (5th ed. 2000),
a textbook utilized by many law schools across the country. Vickie graduated with honors while
working full time during her law school tenure.
Vickie joined Monroe Moxness Berg in 2011. Prior to joining the firm, Vickie practiced
commercial real estate law at a local Minneapolis law firm.
In addition to her law practice at Monroe Moxness Berg, Vickie serves as a lecturer at the
University of Minnesota.
